Christopher Walters understands firsthand that financial success and financial security are not always the same thing.
Before entering financial services, Christopher built and operated a business in the entertainment industry. Like many business owners, much of his financial life was connected to the success of the business and the industry surrounding it.
Then the industry changed.
Business slowed, opportunities dried up, and an industry that had once supported a successful business became increasingly difficult to rely on. The experience reshaped the way Christopher thought about money, risk, and long-term financial independence.
The lesson was simple but lasting: your business or career can be an incredible wealth-building tool, but it shouldn't be your entire financial plan.
Today, Christopher is a wealth advisor working with business owners, corporate executives, physicians, and retirees. He helps clients bring greater structure and coordination to their financial lives, integrating investments, retirement planning, income, tax strategy, and risk management into a cohesive long-term plan.
Christopher also advises clients on equity compensation, deferred income, pension decisions, retirement income, and business transitions. He works collaboratively with clients' CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals to help keep each part of their financial plan working together.
He holds the ChFC®, CLU®, RICP®, TPCP®, WMCP®, FSCP® and CLTC® designations, reflecting advanced training in financial planning, retirement income, wealth management, and risk management.
Outside of work, Christopher is a father of two boys and a lifelong sports fan. He still enjoys playing whenever he gets the chance and follows every team in Los Angeles.
